The Making of a House
The story of FAB Christiano and the journey that shaped the House.
FAB Christiano is the founder of The House of Christiano, a luxury fragrance brand established in 2023. His journey into scent was inspired by the two most influential men in his life, his father and brother, who were his earliest style icons. As a child, he admired how they showed up in the world: his brother with a distinct, casual edge, and his father always sharp in a suit. Though their styles were different, they both finished every look with fragrance. Scent, for them, was signature.
After losing them both, FAB began a deep journey of rediscovery, seeking not just his identity but his essence. “I did not want the world to define me. I wanted to define myself,” he shares. That search led to the birth of Christiano.
Prior to launching the brand, FAB built a multifaceted career as an educator, author, entrepreneur, and content creator. A proud graduate of Morehouse College and Harvard University, he brings a unique blend of cultural insight, academic rigor, and creative spirit to his work.
The name Christiano means Follower of Christ, a nod to the legacy FAB aims to leave behind, rooted in faith, purpose, and authenticity. His debut fragrance, Gratitude, was inspired by the belief that thankfulness is the key to abundance. “You attract blessings by counting the ones you already have,” he says.
Christiano is not just about fragrance, it is about legacy. It is a reflection of identity, heritage, and how you choose to be remembered. As the brand’s slogan states: Life is short, but Christiano is forever.
Crafting Gratitude
The creation of our signature fragrance, 'Gratitude', was an exercise in olfactory storytelling. We embarked on a journey to answer a profound question: what does gratitude smell like? We discovered it is not a single note, but a complex symphony. It is the bright, uplifting warmth of a new day, the rich, comforting embrace of a fond memory, and the soft, lingering trail of a heartfelt connection. The development process was meticulous and patient, involving the careful selection and balancing of notes that would blend seamlessly to create a complete sensory experience. 'Gratitude' is therefore more than a fragrance; it is an invisible aura, a personal ritual designed to center the mind, uplift the spirit, and open the heart to the beauty of the present moment.
